Ep 12: Building in Public

Two founders who publish their numbers every week on what it costs them and what it earns them.
This week's guests
This week: two founders who post their revenue, their churn and their mistakes every Friday. We asked the obvious question, which is why anyone would do that, and got two different answers.
Why publish your numbers
The first is that it works. Public numbers are a marketing channel that costs nothing and compounds. The second is more interesting: writing it down every week is the only thing that forces them to look at it.
The downside
We also cover the downside, which both of them have met: competitors reading along, customers asking about a bad month, and the day you have to publish a number you would rather not.
